Conner’s Crew Held Off

In the closest battle since the America’s Cup trials began five days ago, Pact 95’s Young America held off a spirited attack from Dennis Conner’s Stars & Stripes for its third win.

On a perfect day of sunny sailing after weeks of rain, Young America defeated Stars & Stripes by 18 seconds.

Stars & Stripes had a chance to rebound from the loss during a rematch today. The all-women America3 will race Young America today.
