President Clinton welcomed the New Jersey Devils to the White House on Monday after coincidentally spending the day in Nashville, Tenn. - the city trying to lure the Stanley Cup champions.
The visit came on the eve of a Superior Court hearing in New Jersey on a temporary restraining order sought by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority to keep the team from moving.
