Mary Higgins Clark’s Books On Way To The Silver Screen
Production on the first of three movies based on books by Mary Higgins Clark is expected to start in the next few weeks, according to producer Sonny Grosso, who with his Grosso/Jacobson Productions is developing the movies.
The first of the immensely popular works, “Remember Me,” will star Kelly McGillis (“Top Gun”).
“Remember Me” is a story about a children’s book writer who investigates the death of a young mother in New England in the 1700s.
The movies are being produced under a deal cut last year that was expected to have brought the first one to air by now.
Grosso said a script for the second Higgins Clark movie, “Loves Music, Loves to Dance,” is being rewritten, although it could go into production fairly soon.
