Indoor Opportunities Available

With the weather turning thoughts of recreation to indoor activities, there are a couple of new opportunities on the horizon.

Basketball

The Spokane Park and Recreation Department is signing up men’s and women’s teams for its winter season that begins Nov. 27.

No individual registrations will be taken, and team members must be at least 18 and out of high school. Team fee is $250, and player fee is $15 with a minimum of 10 per roster. Registrations close Nov. 10.

Bowling

The ninth annual Queen’s Tournament will be put on by the Spokane Women’s Bowling Association Nov. 5 at Colonial Bowl. Entry forms are available at county bowling houses.
