Food Panel Needs New Taste Buds

We’re looking for a few new taste buddies.

Applications are being accepted for vacancies on The Spokesman-Review’s reader food panel, starting in January.

The panel meets one evening each month, usually on the second Wednesday. We taste samples of new supermarket products, and also compare different brands of the same product to determine the best deals - everything from frozen waffles to refried beans to chocolate chip cookies (not necessarily in the same night).

The only qualifications are a sense of adventure and a strong stomach (witty writing is a plus, as we publish panel members’ comments).
