Short-Handed UI Still Wins Easily

Idaho had just eight players suited up Monday night but still cruised to an 80-48 non-conference men’s basketball victory over St. Martin’s.

The Vandals (5-4) were led by Troy Thompson’s 22 points. Jason Jackman added 21, including 11 of 12 from the free throw line. St. Martin’s fell to 3-4.

The Vandals announced that guard Derrick Elliott has been suspended indefinitely.
