Presidents Day Closures

Sat., Feb. 17, 1996

The Presidents Day holiday Monday will prompt the closure of the following businesses and government agencies:

All branch offices of the U.S. Postal Service will be closed. Several private mail station outlets will be open without mail service.

All civil branches of local government, including City Hall, Kootenai County Courthouse, Department of Motor Vehicles and the Kootenai County Public Safety Building, will be closed.

Most area banks will be closed. Patrons are asked to check with each bank on an individual basis.

Kootenai County Disaster Services will be open. For assistance call (208) 769-4477.

All federal government offices, including the Department of Employment, U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Health and Welfare, will be closed. Lakeland School District, Coeur d’Alene School District, Post Falls School District and North Idaho College also will be closed.
