Gas Station Robbed By Armed Man

A man carrying a gun robbed a Coeur d’Alene gas station early Friday morning.

The suspect entered the Petro Stop and Shop at 1501 Sherman Ave. at about 12:15 a.m. Friday.

The robber then brandished a gun and demanded money from the clerk, according to a Coeur d’Alene police report. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the robber ran away on foot, according to the report.

The suspect appeared to be white, and 18 to 20 years old. He had dark hair and wore a white hooded sweat shirt, red bandanna and blue shorts. He wore the bandanna as a mask.
