Michael Jordan had 36 points and 11 rebounds Thursday and the Chicago Bulls used a 20-1 run in the second quarter to avenge their worst loss of the season as they beat the New York Knicks 107-86 at Chicago.
If the Bulls needed any more inspiration, Scottie Pippen was back after missing five games with a sore ankle. Pippen wasn’t much of a factor, though, as he picked up two quick fouls and didn’t score until 10:29 remained in the fourth period. He had six points and six rebounds.
