Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: I have an 18-month-old baby with lots of bath toys. I use a plastic colander to place her toys in. She enjoys playing with the colander and the toys in the bath. When I drain the tub I place the toys in the colander and shake. I have something to store the toys in. The colander fits right in the bath ring that I use. -Debbie Baker, Roanoke, Texas

Dear Heloise: Most people throw out old towels, sheets and blankets if they redecorate or if the item is torn or stained. Most kennels, like the one where I work, in veterinarian offices, greatly appreciate receiving these. A lot of dogs and cats love having a blanket or towel to sleep on at their home away from home.
