Whitworth Presbyterian Church Holding Adult Education Classes

Whitworth Presbyterian Church is beginning the new year with a month-long series of adult education classes set to begin Sunday and run through Jan. 26.

The following classes will be held each Sunday at 10 a.m.:

“God’s Purpose for Families” will focus on how to strengthen family ties and how to build relationships.

“Journey into Missions” will cover what a mission is and what we can do to help.

“Anger Management” will deal with anger and how to change one’s behavior.

“Reclaiming Your Finances” will examine how to apply biblical and financial perspectives of money management in order to control your money. This class will be offered every Sunday at 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

An additional class, “Gelatians: Then and Now,” will be offered each Sunday at 11:15 a.m. The class will cover the Book of Gelatians.

No registration is required. All classes are free.

College choir in concert

A concert featuring the choir from Augustana College in North Dakota will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 302 W. Augusta.

The concert is free, but a free will offering will be collected to benefit Omega, a church organization that assists the poor.
