Frank Sinatra Leaves Hospital After 1-Day Stay

Associated Press

Frank Sinatra went home Tuesday from a hospital where he spent 24 hours for an undisclosed medical procedure.

Sinatra, 81, left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by private car about 8 a.m. and arrived at his Beverly Hills home a short time later, Sinatra spokeswoman Susan Reynolds said. “He’s fine,” she said.

Sinatra entered the hospital Monday morning. At his request, Reynolds and the hospital refused to discuss the reason.

A source told The Associated Press the hospitalization was for a prearranged procedure and wasn’t a life-threatening malady.

Two months ago, Sinatra was hospitalized eight days at Cedars-Sinai for treatment of a pinched nerve and mild pneumonia.
