Registration Open For Hunting Classes

Registration is open for hunter education courses for the fall season.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game encourages early registration in order to complete a class in time to buy a license for the upcoming season. Classes are scheduled for August and into September.

The first class is scheduled from noon to 7 p.m., Aug. 15 at the Fish and Game office, 2750 Kathleen Ave. The course costs $3 for students up to 18 years old and $5 for adults.

By state law, people born after Jan. 1, 1975, must successfully complete a hunter education course before buying a hunting license.
