Woman Golfer Accuses Bsu Of Title Ix Violation

The father of a woman golfer has filed a complaint with the federal government that Boise State isn’t complying with Title IX, which bans discrimination based on sex.

Garth Forney, father of sophomore-to-be Lisa Forney, filed the complaint after a number of run-ins with former coach Bob Campbell. Forney maintains his daughter was given only a 70 percent scholarship because she was a whistle-blower on the program’s problems.
