Michael Johnson has confirmed his plans to run in Sunday’s Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Ore., but Mary Slaney will be a no-show because of a leg injury.

Citing injury, pole vault legend Sergei Bubka withdrew from that event in one of track & field’s most anticipated meets, the 150-meter One-to-One race between sprint greats Donovan Bailey and Michael Johnson in Toronto on June 1.
