Sticky And Sweet

Jo Ann Warner knows how to make the most of a sticky situation.

The Harrington, Wash., woman offers a complete line of bakery items through her Lord’s Valley Specialty Breads. The biggest sellers are her sticky buns, which come in plain or pecan.

Warner wholesales most of her output to area restaurants and businesses, but the buns also are available retail at a couple of spots in Spokane. Price: $1.05 to $1.25 each (six for $4.25 at the Spokane MarketPlace).

Available: In Spokane at McGowen’s Cafe in Auntie’s Bookstore (402 W. Main) and at the Spokane MarketPlace (First and Jefferson, Wednesday and Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.).
