Schools Panel Seeking Two More Members

The Idaho Board of Education is looking for two people to serve on the public education Exiting Standards Commission.

The commission develops criteria for each core subject in Idaho high schools to determine graduation standards for students.

The board is expanding the commission from 10 members to 12 because of the high workload.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter and resume to Lydia G. Guerra, state exiting standards coordinator, Idaho Board of Education, P.O. Box 83720, Boise 83720-0037. Resumes also may be sent by fax to (208) 334-4664 or by e-mail to lguerra@sde.state.id.us.

Applications are due May 1.
