Produce expected to be available this week at area farmers’ markets (depending on weather; shop early for best selection):

Spokane MarketPlace (Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., First and Jefferson downtown): Apples, Asian pears, walnuts, honey, potatoes, onions, winter squash, gourds, garlic, carrots, fresh and dried herbs; free baby pumpkins while they last.
