Cranberries Revisited
By now, the tastes of the holidays seem far, far away - the pumpkin, the cookies, the cranberries.
But Kay Cory of Spokane produces a cranberry chutney - actually, more of a thick, cranberry-accented applesauce - made with oranges, lemons, raisins, onions, sugar, vinegar and spices. She enjoys it on pork and chicken, and in sandwiches with turkey, cream cheese or just by itself.
It’s a bit of fat-free flavor to help brighten those bleak February days.
Price: $5.50-$7 for 16 ounces.
