Jamey Herron, 27, of Bigfork, Mont., is one of only four athletes from the United States invited to participate in the Paralympics, the international games for disabled people March 5-14 in Nagano, Japan.

Herron, a developmentally disabled cross-country skier, won a gold medal in the Montana Special Olympics.
