Fish And Game Opens Hunting Classes

Prospective hunters can register for fall hunter education classes today at the Idaho Fish and Game office.

Registration is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the office at 2750 Kathleen Ave. Classes are open for July, August and September.

Idaho law requires anyone born after Jan. 1, 1975, to complete a hunter education class before purchasing a hunting license. First-time archery hunters also are required to take a bowhunting class.

Each class costs $8. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children and to participate in the classes.
