Cda Board Approves High School Electives
The Coeur d’Alene School Board approved 24 new elective courses at Lake City High School and one new course at Coeur d’Alene High Thursday.
Two controversial courses proposed for Lake City, Community Design and the History of Sports and Entertainment, will be voted on at the July 13 meeting. That will give board members time to review clarifications of the courses presented to them Thursday.
The unprecedented number of new courses at Lake City is necessary because the school has adopted a block schedule pilot program, which will require students to take more courses each semester.
