Capt. Michael Wright Reassigned To Gonzaga

Capt. Michael T. Wright has been reassigned from commander of Co. B, Forward Support Battalion at Fort Lewis, to assistant professor of military science at Gonzaga University.

Wright is a graduate of Mead High School and Eastern Washington University where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate of U.S. Army ROTC program.

He is the son of Dick and Bev Wright.

Joshua Hale Richard has been promoted to the rank of corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Richard, a 1996 graduate of Lewis and Clark High School, is the son of Sharon Richard Hofstrand.

Several Spokane-area residents have made military news in the recent months:

Air Force Airman Eric G. Donovan graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

He is the son of Margaret and Michael Donovan, Spokane, and a 1996 graduate of Mead High School.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Jori K. Farquharson graduated from the ground radio communications equipment apprentice course at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.

She is the daughter of Michael E. Farquharson, Loon Lake, Wash., and a 1996 graduate of North Central High School.

Aaron E. Jacobs completed an U.S. Air Force ROTC field training encampment at Barksdale Air Force Base, Bossier City, La.

Jacobs is the son of Eugene and Delores Jacobs, Spokane, and a 1996 graduate of North Central High School.

Army Pfc. Todd M. Miller was promoted to Army specialist upon completion of the band instrumentalist course at the U.S. Army Element School of Music at Norfolk, Va.

He is the son of Steven Miller and Linda Painter, both of Cheney. He graduated from Cheney High School in 1997.

Jacey L. Vogrig completed the cadet basic training program at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.

She is the daughter of John Vogrig, Spokane, and Joice Vogrig, Priest River, Idaho.
