Hearing Set On Exiting Standards

A public hearing on proposed state exiting standards for high school students is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday at Sandpoint High School.

The State Board of Education is formulating new requirements for high school students to meet before they’re allowed to graduate.

A statewide committee has been working on draft proposals, and is now on its second draft. The second draft is available at public libraries, on the Internet at www.sde.state.id.us/osbe/exstand.htm, and at the hearing.
