When it comes to pickling, some people prefer to leave it to the professionals.

Kruegermann pickles are produced by a German family that’s been in the business since 1896. They make several varieties - including the popular Spicy Garlic and the smaller, sweeter Hausfrauenart (pictured here) - as well as sauerkraut and red cabbage.

Price: About $3 for 16 ounces, or $4 to $5 for 32 ounces.
