Alan Hattenburg reported Wednesday $900 damage to the windows and headlights of a Case backhoe while it was parked on the 3600 block of 12th St.

Kootenai County sheriff

George Shanks, owner of Shanks Enterprises, reported Wednesday the $500 theft of four tires and wheels from a 1987 Mazda pickup while it was parked at the business at 122 Coeur d’Alene Ave., in Harrison.

John Debernardi, Spirit Lake fire chief, reported Tuesday $2,200 damage to windows, an engine wiring harness and deck carpet and the $525 theft of a radio antennae, siren control box, fire nozzles, fire extinguisher and fuel lines and fuel caps from the department’s 1988 Homebuilt boat while it was docked at the old Lake Haven Resort docks on Spirit Lake.

David Weingart, owner of Weingart Logging Co., reported Tuesday $1,050 damage to the windows and oil tank and the theft of miscellaneous tools from a 1998 loader while it was parked on Twin Craigs Road near Cataldo.

Jennifer Morganstean, Coeur d’Alene, reported Wednesday the $408 theft of cash and stereo equipment from her 1987 Hyundai while it was parked a home on the 1000 block of Hayden Ave.

Post Falls police

Nancy Cline, Post Falls, reported Monday the $2,050 theft of miscellaneous items from a storage unit in Post Falls.

Leslie Hansen, Post Falls, reported July 2 the $450 theft of a videocassette recorder and bedding from her home on the 400 block of Evergreen Ave.
