Carnival, Dance Will Help Police Program

The Pinehurst Police Department, its community policing program and The Young Explorers Society are sponsoring a Halloween carnival and dance.

There will be a teen dance from 8 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Pinehurst Elementary School.

The fourth annual carnival will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the school.

Admission to the dance is $3 per person or $2 plus a can of food. The carnival cost is $2 per person, or $1 and a can of food.

All proceeds will go to Pinehurst’s community-policing programs. Food will be given to the Silver Valley Food Bank. For more information, call 682-3662 or 682-3721.
