Vitamina 12 Surprisingly Flavorful

Rick Bonino Food Editor

Usually, when we feed something “healthy” to The Spokesman-Review’s reader food panel, we know what to expect - groans, gagging noises and more than a few rolled eyeballs.

Not so with Vitamina 12, a new beverage blend that combines the best of a dozen different juices: apple, orange, grape, banana, grapefruit, apricot, pineapple, mango, guava, passion fruit, papaya and kiwi.

Once they got past the day-glo orange color, panelists were pretty pleased with the hearty texture and distinctive flavor.

But we still don’t expect them to be asking for more soy milk anytime soon.

Vitamina 12 Multi-Vitamin Nectar Price: $3.19 for 64 ounces.
