Board May Seek More Applications

After receiving only one application for its vacant trustee position, the Coeur d’Alene School Board may extend the deadline at Monday’s meeting.

The board opened the selection process July 10 after trustee John Goedde resigned to pursue his Republican bid for the state Senate.

The deadline for application is Monday, unless the board extends the cutoff.

Goedde represents Zone 3, the northwestern part of the district.

Interested people are asked to submit a letter of interest, a resume and three references. The district address is 311 N. 10th St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
