Spokane Farmers’ Market (Wednesday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., First Covenant Church parking lot at Second and Division in Spokane. Sizzlin’ Harvest Barbecue is today from 9 a.m. to noon. Local chefs will demonstrate techniques and hand out free samples of grilled fruits and veggies): huckleberries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches, apricots, raspberries, nectarines, melons, jam, salad mix, spinach, lettuce, celery, beets, carrots, scallions, sweet onions, leeks, garlic, shallots, Swiss chard, kale, mustard greens, broccoli, beans (green, yellow and purple), green, yellow and purple bell peppers, ancho and banana peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers, summer squash (zuchinni and patty pan), potatoes (white, red, blue, purple and gold), edible flowers, assorted herbs and assorted baked goods.

Farmers’ Market at Sandpoint (Wednesday 3 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to noon, at Farmin Park, Third and Main): kohlrabi, turnips, lettuce, salad mix, chard, kale, beets, carrots, green onions, garlic, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, green beans, assorted fresh and dried herbs, strawberries, blueberries, zucchini and assorted summer squash, new potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, cherries, raspberries, huckleberries, cucumbers, eggs, honey, edible flowers, tomatoes, shallots and onions.
Colville (Wash.) Farmers’ Market (Special Market Barbecue today, noon to 6 p.m. will feature vegetable kabobs and herbed corn on the cob for sale. Also it will be Kids Day and children will have lemonade stands, Icee stands and produce grown by them for sale. Sunday is Ice Cream Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Hawthorne and Elm Street): corn, raspberries, blueberries, huckleberries, other berries, peaches, melons, apples, apricots, plums, green beans, tomatoes all types of lettuce, onions, kohlrabi, summer squash, cucumbers, spinach, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, napa cabbage, dried vegetables and fruits, assorted baked goods, organic meats, jams, jellies and fruit butters.
Cheney Farmers Market (Sundays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on College Street between First and Second): huckleberries, apples, peaches, apricots, raspberries, various strawberries, walnuts, eggplant, okra, lettuces, kale, spinach, Swiss chard, beets, cucumbers, green and fava beans, corn, peas, onions, scallions, Okanogan sweet onions, assorted herbs, arugula, borage, sweet hot peppers, tomatoes, jams, vinegars, mustard and assorted baked goods.
