The Spokesman-Review Reader Food Panel recommends Sara Lee’s new Calzone Creations.

The panel recently tested the Zesty Italian Sausage frozen calzone and gave it a rare high score (4.8 stars) in the taste category. The calzones come two to a box and cost about $1.85 per calzone. Food Panel members told us this was a fair price.

Keep in mind that panel members rate products on taste, not nutritional value. In the case of the Zesty Italian Sausage flavor, each calzone packs 470 calories and 25 grams of fat (12 grams saturated).

Calzone Creations come in other flavors such as traditional Italian, Thai and Santa Fe.
