Pat Heaton was heatin’ up the nets Tuesday night in Tekoa.
Heaton hit 6 of 7 field goals, including two 3-pointers, and 6 of 6 free throws to lead Tekoa-Oakesdale to a 68-63 win over LaCrosse-Washtucna in the Whitman County League.
T-O moved into a first-place tie with idle Garfield-Palouse.
Anthony Buergel sealed the win with two free throws with 5 seconds left. He and Heaton combined for 13 rebounds.
