Police blotter Kootenai County sheriff

Deborah Loftin, owner of Unique Travel, reported Monday the $525 theft of a safe, airline tickets and miscellaneous items and $600 damage to an entry door of the business at 7352 N. Government Way.

Larry McDowell, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the $7,400 theft of cash when checks were written on his credit card account without his permission.

Post Falls police

James Kelley, Post Falls, reported Friday $600 damage to his 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass after a hit-and-run at the corner of Spokane Street and 16th Avenue.
