Coeur d’Alene police
Jayson Sage, Hayden Lake, Idaho, reported Thursday that his Ford Explorer had been stolen from the 1000 block of Emma Avenue. The $15,000 Explorer was recovered later.
Kootenai County sheriff
Robert White Schaffnit, Coeur d’Alene, reported Sunday the $521 theft of an amplifier and an ashtray from his Jeep while it was parked at the boat launch site just west of state Highway 97 between Interstate 90 and Wolf Lodge Road.
Norman Judd, Spokane, reported Monday the theft of a fish finder, fishing equipment and engine parts from his boat sometime between July 1998 and November 1999 while it was stored at Stoor Marina. Value of the equipment is unknown.
Melanie Hoffman, Rathdrum, Idaho, reported Monday that someone caused $800 in damage to her 1995 Dodge Intrepid by “keying” it on the passenger side while it was parked at the Cotton Club in Hayden, Idaho.
Desiree Sanborn, Post Falls, reported Saturday the $3,750 theft of compact discs in a carrying case from her Nissan while it was parked at her home.
