Character Expert To Lecture At Nic

An internationally known speaker in the field of character development will give a presentation at 7 p.m. Tuesday at North Idaho College’s library.

Hal Urban is a speaker, author and professor. His book “Life’s Greatest Lessons - 20 Things I Want my Kids to Know” emphasizes the character traits that lead to success. People attending the lecture will learn how attitude, respect and work are essential to excelling in school and life.

The lecture is free and open to the public. It is part of a three-day workshop at the University of Idaho in Coeur d’Alene Monday through Wednesday.

Urban has conducted speaking engagements at schools worldwide for more than seven years. He has a doctorate in education and psychology from the University of San Francisco and his post-doctorate from Stanford University.
