People interested in tracking federal efforts to study mining waste cleanup in the Coeur d’Alene River basin can now go to a Web site. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s site features technical documents, along with other information. The site is http://yosemite.epa.gov/r10/cleanup.nsf/sites/cda

Within the next few weeks, the site will include information about toxic metals levels on Spokane River beaches. The agency hopes people will use the site to review ongoing work and provide comments, officials say.
