Sen. Craig Criticizes Climate Assessment

Sen. Larry Craig is calling the federal National Climate Change Assessment “long on politics and short on conclusive science.”

The report comes as part of the Climate Change Energy Policy Response Act and the Climate Change Tax Amendments of 1999.

Craig last week criticized the lack of scientific research. He wanted to know about the earth’s capacity to assimilate greenhouse gas emissions, the oceans’ capacity to absorb carbon dioxide and their effect on earth’s climate.
