Kootenai Deputies Find Human Bones

Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies discovered human skeletal remains Sunday morning near Bunco Road about four miles northeast of U.S. Highway 95.

Hunters reported finding the remains in a wooded area. The bones appeared to have been there for a long time, according to police reports.

Detectives are trying to identify the body. So far, there doesn’t appear to be foul play, according to reports.
