Leaf Gathering Will Go On As Planned

Despite the recent snowstorm, Coeur d’Alene city crews will begin their annual November leaf pickup on Monday.

Residents who want leaves picked up should rake them into the street, about a foot from the curb.

The city will push the leaves into piles with a grader, then load them onto trucks.

With snow on the streets, city crews only plan to plow busy streets and trouble areas. To prevent leaves from mixing with snow berms, crews will not plow residential streets unless conditions change.
