The following offices and services will be affected by the Labor Day holiday.

Garbage pickup within the Coeur d’Alene city limits will be one day late for the week of Sept. 4-9. Coeur d’Alene Garbage Service and Post Falls Sanitation customers will not be affected.

City and county offices will be closed.

Post offices will be closed.

State liquor stores will be closed.

Most banks will be closed. Check with individual branch offices for details.

The Coeur d’Alene Public Library will be closed Sunday and Monday.

All area schools will be closed.

Local journalism is essential.
