Firm Buys 41 Condos At Arrow Point
A Redmond, Wash., company has purchased 41 condominiums at the Arrow Point Resort, and is planning to turn them into time-share units.
Trendwest Resorts Inc. purchased the condos Tuesday from Arrow Point Development Co. for an undisclosed sum.
“This is a nice thing. We’re excited,” said Roger Stewart, president of Arrow Point Development Co.
The condos are part of a 100-condo resort on a peninsula of Lake Coeur d’Alene south of Squaw Bay on state Highway 97.
In a press release, Trendwest cited the lake and four-season recreation in the area as the draw.
Trendwest owns vacation condos in 35 locations worldwide and markets them to 98,000 owners through a company called WorldMark.
The sale of the condos is not related to a legal battle between the Stewart family and estranged business partners, Roger Stewart said.
The Stewart family and Agincourt of Canada are suing each other over 300 acres that was set aside for a golf course.
The parties were once partners in the golf course venture.
