Market Report

The Spokesman-Review

Celebrate Washington’s Farmers’ Market Week by picking up a basket of summer’s bounty. You’ll find the peak of summer goodies, and some markets will have special music and food for the occasion. The appearance of peaches is being reported by the Northeast Washington Farmers Market in Colville and Columbia Basin Farmers Market in Moses Lake. You can also expect to see tomatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, shallots, salad mix, beets, new potatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, eggplant, green peppers, corn, yellow squash, zucchini, carrots, jalapenos, nectarines, apricots, early apples, herbs, beets, cherries, raspberries and some melons, including muskmelon and watermelon.
