If she were my dog, I’d name her Pogo. Lacy jumps straight from a standing position, exactly like a pogo stick. But she’s already had enough name changes. She was called “Lady” until she was adopted last spring. She wasn’t very ladylike, especially when dealing with other female dogs. The name change didn’t help, as Lacy is a true alpha female. The family returned her when she couldn’t get along with the other female pet. Away from others, she is sweet, quiet, playful and bright. She loves toys, kids, running and just about everything but female dogs and cats. Visit Lacy at Kootenai Humane Society at 11650 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden Lake, or call 772-4019.
