Camp Sweyolakan gets new maintenance tractor

The Spokesman-Review

Thanks to the collaboration of Coeur d’Alene Tractor and the Henry Day Neewahlu Trust, Camp Sweyolakan is the proud owner of a 2005 Kubota RTV 900 tractor.

Camp Sweyolakan, owned by Camp Fire USA, is located on Lake Coeur d’Alene and open to both boys and girls.

Wally Adams, co-owner of Coeur d’Alene Tractor, gave Sweyolakan substantial discounts that allowed the camp to customize the machine while the Henry Day Neewahlu Trust provided funding for the project.

The arrival of the Kubota will allow Camp Sweyolakan to give a 1967 Jeep a much needed retirement, as it has been the camp vehicle for more than 20 years.

“I’ve spent too many hours just keeping the Jeep going,” said Bob Crawford, Sweyolakan site manager. “The Kubota will make it possible to accomplish a lot more.”
