Orioles 9, White Sox 6: At Chicago, Brian Roberts had three doubles and Miguel Tejada doubled in the go-ahead run in a four-run seventh inning as Baltimore beat Chicago. The Orioles erased an early three-run deficit to win after losing the first two games of the four-game series between division leaders.
Yankees 15, Athletics 6: At Oakland, Calif., Derek Jeter and Tino Martinez hit three-run home runs, Alex Rodriguez added his major league-leading 12th homer and the New York defeated Oakland for its seventh straight win.
Rangers 5, Twins 0: At Minneapolis, Kenny Rogers pitched a five-hitter and ran his scoreless streak to 30 innings, leading Texas over Minnesota. Rogers (4-2) has won his last four starts and has not allowed a run since the sixth inning of a 3-2 loss to Tampa Bay on April 21.
Angels 4-2, Tigers 2-3: At Detroit, Jeff DaVanon’s suicide squeeze broke a seventh-inning tie and sent Los Angeles to a victory over Detroit in the first game of a doubleheader. The Tigers gained a split by winning the second game behind Brandon Inge’s two-run homer and Craig Monroe’s solo shot.
Royals 6, Devil Rays 5: At Kansas City, Mo., Emil Brown hit a go-ahead double in the eighth, and left fielder Terrence Long made a leaping catch with two outs in the ninth to preserve Kansas City’s victory over Tampa Bay.
Indians 3, Blue Jays 2: At Cleveland, Jhonny Peralta homered to snap a seventh-inning tie, and Cleveland beat Toronto for its first three-game win streak of the season.

Padres 2, Marlins 1: At San Diego, Jake Peavy (3-0) held Florida to one run and five hits in seven innings to lead San Diego to victory.
Braves 5, Dodgers 1: At Los Angeles, Eric Gagne returned from the disabled list and gave up homers to his first two batters, Chipper Jones and Andruw Jones, as Atlanta beat Los Angeles.
Cardinals 7, Mets 6: At New York, Larry Walker had a pinch-hit sacrifice fly in the eighth to lift St. Louis to a victory over New York.
Astros 4, Giants 1: At Houston, Roger Clemens (3-1) struck out a season-high 10 in his 331st career win, pitching Houston past San Francisco.
Pirates 2, Brewers 0: At Pittsburgh, Mark Redman (2-3) pitched his first career shutout and Jose Castillo had a two-run double to carry Pittsburgh past Milwaukee.
Reds 12, Phillies 4: At Philadelphia, Ken Griffey Jr. hit a go-ahead three-run homer in a six-run seventh, lifting Cincinnati over Philadelphia.
Diamondbacks 10, Rockies 4: At Denver, Brandon Webb (5-0) pitched eight innings to remain unbeaten, and Chris Snyder had three RBIs to help Arizona top Colorado.
Nationals 4, Cubs 3: At Washington, Livan Hernandez (6-2) won his fifth straight start but left the game after injuring his knee in the seventh, as Washington edged Chicago.
