Dirk Nowitzki’s aim was off in his first game back from suffering blurred vision, yet he was the only one misfiring for the Dallas Mavericks as they trounced the Sacramento Kings 109-90 Friday night in Dallas to extend their winning streak to 12.

The Mavericks haven’t lost since starting the season 0-4.

It’s the third-best surge in club history – two shy of matching the franchise record – and has taken them to the top of the Southwest Division and they’re closing in on Utah for the best record in the NBA.

Wizards 121, Bobcats 109: At Washington, Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison each scored more than 20 points, and the Wizards beat Charlotte.

Former Gonzaga Bulldog Adam Morrison led the Bobcats with 23 points on the day he was honored as the Eastern Conference rookie of the month for November.

Raptors 106: Celtics 102: At Toronto, Chris Bosh had 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Raptors to a victory over Boston.

Bulls 111, Hornets 108: At Oklahoma City, Andres Nocioni scored a career-high 31 points, and Chicago held on for a victory over New Orleans.

Cavaliers 106, Hawks 95: At Atlanta, LeBron James scored 31 points and Cleveland pulled away from the Hawks in the fourth quarter for a victory.

Magic 91, Trail Blazers 89: At Portland, Grant Hill scored off the inbounds pass with 1.5 seconds left to give Orlando a victory over the Trail Blazers.

Nuggets 106, Timberwolves 92: At Minneapolis, Carmelo Anthony scored 35 points, Eduardo Najera outworked Minnesota’s post players for a double-double, and Denver beat the Timberwolves.

Suns 122, Bucks 116: At Phoenix, Shawn Marion scored 27 points, 12 in the fourth quarter, and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Suns to a victory over Milwaukee – their sixth straight.

Pistons 108, Knicks 100: At Auburn Hills, Mich., Tayshaun Prince matched his career high with 31 points, Chauncey Billups added 22 points and 16 assists, and Detroit beat New York for its eighth straight victory.

The Memphis Grizzlies’ Pau Gasol was back at practice but a foot injury will keep him sidelined a bit longer. … Local minority owners of the Grizzlies decided against trying to match a $252 million offer to buy out majority owner Michael Heisley. … Atlanta Hawks guard Josh Childress could miss another four weeks with a broken bone in his left foot. … Allen Iverson, fined by the Philadelphia 76ers for skipping a bowling event, said the effects of medicine after a dental procedure made him a no-show. … The players’ association filed two unfair labor practice charges against the NBA over issues with the new ball and the league’s crackdown on player complaints. … Detroit Pistons center Dale Davis was acquitted on assault charges stemming from an altercation with police in Miami.
