NFL not honorable
I am sure all of us as kids were told by our parents to tell the truth: If you made a mistake admit it, don’t try to protect other kids with stories that were not factual/truthful.
Apparently the NFL doesn’t follow that advice. The rationale it listed in Wednesday’s (Feb. 8) paper to explain the questionable calls almost makes me laugh. Being the rocket scientist I am, if the calls weren’t so bad, why all the media coverage on them?
I was pleased to see the college basketball officials who were suspended for one game due to a bad call. Hello, NFL.
