Fundraiser to benefit Odessa Hospital
The Odessa (Wash.) Healthcare Foundation will host its 15th Annual Wine Tasting and Auction on Friday.
The fundraiser for the Odessa Memorial Hospital begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Odessa Community Center. Odessa is southwest of Spokane on Highway 28.
In this farm community of fewer than 1,000 people, the event raises about $25,000 each year. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or from a board member of the Odessa Healthcare Foundation.
A sampling of wines and appetizers is included in the ticket price. Silent and live auction items include a fishing trip to Alaska, a catered Super Bowl Party, handmade quilts and flowers for a year.
The money raised is earmarked for the purchase of a new digital X-ray machine. For more information, contact Terri King at (509) 982-0193.
