Hoosiers topple Tigers
D.J. White scored a career-high 29 points Monday night and No. 15 Indiana survived an injury to high-scoring freshman Eric Gordon in an 84-72 victory over the Tennessee State Tigers (2-4) in Bloomington, Ind.
The Hoosiers (7-1) led early by as many as 19 points, but Gordon left the game with about 6 minutes left in the first half after he bruised his lower back in a hard fall.
Coach Kelvin Sampson said the 6-foot-4 Gordon would play Saturday against Kentucky.
(20) Wisconsin 70, Wofford 43: At Madison, Wis., Jason Bohannon scored 14 points and Joe Krabbenhoft added 12 as the Badgers (6-1) cruised to a win over the Terriers (3-2).
Wisconsin didn’t score until more than four minutes into the game and hit just one of its first six shots.

(4) Rutgers 68, (3) Maryland 60: At Piscataway, N.J., Epiphanny Prince had 22 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds and keyed a second-half run to help the Scarlet Knights (5-1) beat the Terrapins (10-1) in the sixth annual Jimmy V Women’s Basketball Classic.
