Opportunity blown

The Spokesman-Review

I thought the Gonzaga Bulldogs were going to lose to Saint Mary’s because Josh Heytvelt was one of their best players.

I was glad to see the Bulldogs pulled off the win without him. I think he and Theo Davis were stupid for having drugs with them.

I think if they are convicted of possession of drugs they should not be able to play college basketball. They have been given a great opportunity at Gonzaga and they blew it when they chose to selfishly be involved with drug use. Even if they had not been doing drugs, they were in the wrong place, with the wrong group of people, and by doing that let down their team, their families, and the community that supports Gonzaga basketball.
